1. Scope of the Merewell service
Merewell is operated by Bondsmith Savings LTD, 2nd Floor, 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NJ. The service helps adults in the United Kingdom organise information and questions relating to savings, valuable possessions, household continuity and longer-term financial planning.
The free consultation is intended to identify priorities and possible next steps. Paid services may include written planning summaries, inventories, checklists and structured questions to take to banks, insurers, solicitors, tax advisers, valuers or regulated financial advisers.
2. Important boundaries: no guarantee and no regulated recommendation
Merewell does not guarantee that money, possessions or financial outcomes will be protected from loss. We do not hold client funds and do not make promises of investment return, capital growth, tax savings or eligibility for compensation schemes.
Our general planning service does not constitute a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold a specific investment, pension or insurance product. We do not present ourselves as a substitute for regulated investment advice, insurance distribution, legal advice, tax advice or professional valuation. If your decision requires one of those services, the relevant professional should assess your individual circumstances before you act.
3. Enquiries, consultations and formation of a contract
Submitting an enquiry requests contact from us; it does not oblige you to purchase anything. We may ask for additional information to understand the scope of the consultation. A paid service begins only after the scope, price and expected deliverable have been confirmed with you.
We may decline work that is outside our service scope, requires a regulated permission we do not provide, presents a conflict of interest, involves suspected unlawful activity or cannot reasonably be completed using the information available.
4. Prices, VAT and third-party charges
The free Clarity Call costs £0. The Protection Map is £118.80 including £19.80 VAT, the Valuables File is £76.80 including £12.80 VAT, and the Annual Check-in is £148.80 including £24.80 VAT. The service description shown at the time of purchase explains the Merewell work included in each fee.
These prices do not include bank or investment charges, insurance premiums, tax, legal fees, regulated-adviser fees, valuation fees, storage costs, transfer fees or any other third-party cost. Any third-party service is governed by the terms and prices of that provider.
5. Information you provide and decisions you make
You are responsible for providing information that is materially accurate to the best of your knowledge and for checking product-specific facts with the relevant provider. Limits, eligibility rules, interest rates, insurance terms, tax rules and compensation arrangements can change.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to act on general planning information and for obtaining regulated, legal, tax or other specialist advice where appropriate. Do not provide us with passwords, PINs, full card security details or other credentials.
6. Cancellation and refunds
If you purchase a service remotely as a consumer, statutory cancellation rights may apply. Where you ask us to begin work during an applicable cancellation period, we may require the confirmations permitted by law and may charge for work properly carried out before cancellation where the law allows.
If we have not begun the paid work, you may ask to cancel and we will explain any refund due. If a deliverable is materially defective, please contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct the work or provide another remedy required by consumer law.
7. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to those limits, we are responsible for providing the agreed Merewell service with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for the independent acts, products, decisions or failures of banks, insurers, investment providers, professional advisers, valuers, storage providers or other third parties. We are also not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us, or from acting on outdated product terms without checking the current position.
8. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, provided we take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and resume the service when practicable. This may include material disruption to communications, utilities, transport, hosting or other essential suppliers.
9. Changes to services and terms
We may update these terms for future enquiries when our service, prices or legal obligations change. The terms in force when a paid service is agreed will apply to that service unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, mandatory consumer protections that apply to you are not affected. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes.
If you are dissatisfied with our service, contact Bondsmith Savings LTD using [email protected] or +441612485534 so the matter can be reviewed.
